What is Clover RPG on Roblox?

Clover RPG is an open-world action RPG built by the Roblox group Thousandfold. Its Roblox page describes it simply: explore the magical continent of Elysium and stamp your mark on the world. Players know it as the Black Clover-style game where your magic comes from a random Grimoire roll, and your race sets the stat bonuses you build around.

The experience page has existed since December 2021, but the game most people are searching for is the version that went public on October 23, 2026, after an Early Access weekend in September. On October 28 the Roblox API listed about 2.16 million visits, 36,800 favorites and roughly 3,300 people playing at once. It runs on PC and console.

Several Roblox games share the name. Clover Retribution, Clover Origins, Clover Time and Clover City are separate games by other developers, so their codes, Trello boards and tier lists do not apply here.

Progression: what unlocks when

You start with no magic at all. The early game is tutorial quests, gray question-mark NPC quests and D-rank jobs from the Mission Bird (press U). Ranks go up when you beat the boss mission the game marks for you. Everything important hangs off your level:

1. Level 10: your first GrimoireA quest marker sends you to the Grimoire point. The roll is random; you cannot choose your magic. Inner Realm passives unlock at the same time.
2. Levels 25 and 35: more activesEach milestone adds another active ability from your Grimoire, which is when weaker magics start to feel complete.
3. Level 50: Grimoire AugmentationGuides list this as the late upgrade, but its effects were still marked work in progress at launch.

Proficiency XP from normal play is spent at the dojo, and weapons come in Light, Medium and Heavy classes with proficiency requirements. Travel is by broom, and waypoint portals open as you follow the main quest line. Dying in high-level zones costs you a long walk back, so push new areas once your build is set.

Grimoires and races at a glance

Seven magics and seven races exist in the launch build. Roll chances below are the rates printed by two guides that agree with each other; rarity is not strength, so the rarest roll is not automatically the best one. Our Clover RPG tier list explains where each one ranks and why.

Grimoire rerolls cost Essence, which drops from quests and chests as Bags and Boxes of Essence. Races and traits sit on a separate reroll track. Exact costs change between updates and are shown on the roll screen, so we do not print them here.

Codes and Trello status

There are no Clover RPG codes. Thousandfold's FAQ in the official Discord says plainly that the game does not have a code system, and guide sites checked on October 26–27 agree. Our Clover RPG codes page tracks this and will list codes the day one appears.

Tips for your first hour

• Clear the gray question-mark quests first. They are one-time quests that pay experience and gear, and they get you to level 10 and your first Grimoire fastest.
• Do not spend Essence before level 10. You cannot reroll a Grimoire you do not have yet, and dojo upgrades compete for the same currency.
• Take Weapons Expert early. It costs one trait point at level 5 and speeds up weapon proficiency for the rest of the game.
• Leave Bounty Hunter alone. It permanently halves your PvE experience; guides warn it cannot be undone.
• Use the Mission Bird between quests. Press U for D-rank jobs, and beat the marked boss mission to rank up.
• Check your roll before rerolling. Wind and Light are already S tier, so a 42% chance roll is worth keeping. See the Clover RPG tier list before you spend.
